Gadgetometer first came into this world as a concept that came about when it was discovered that while there are lots of sites that provide reviews of gadgets, unlike with movies or TV, there really is no site (that we could find) that pulls all those reviews together, scores each one, then creates an aggregate score of all reviews. We found that if we wanted to truly gauge how well a product is received by reviewers, previously, we had to visit each review one-by-one to get a general idea what the general sentiment is. Gadgetometer pulls all of this information together in one place giving you an idea what your favorite reviewers are saying about your favorite gadgets. It does this by pulling reviews from review sites, scoring them using AI and sentiment analysis, then working out an average score for all reviewed items.
